Paolo Manzone is the sixth generation of his family involved in the wine industry. Paolo’s father and grandfather were well-known farmers and grape-growers before they started making wine in 1970. Paolo is the winemaker and vineyard manager for the 24 acres of vines the family owns in the two villages of Sinio and Serralunga d’Alba, in the heart of the legendary Piedmont region. The age of the vineyards in Sinio on average are 20-25 years, while vines in Serralunga range from 25-60 years. With the continued support of his wife and family, Paolo carries on the family tradition.

PRODUCTION AREA: This wine comes from the vineyards in Sinio. 

VINIFICATION: The grapes are picked and selected by hand, then they are removed from the stalks and soft pressed . The must is fermented in vertical steel tanks, with automatic rising. Eight days of maceration is requested for giving colour and good body. The refining of this wine takes place in French barriques according to tradition.
